3내가 마게도냐로 갈 때에 너를 권하여 에베소에 머물라 한 것은 어떤 사람들을 명하여 다른 교훈을 가르치지 말며

4neither to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes, rather than God’s stewardship, which is in faith—
5경계의 목적은 청결한 마음과 선한 양심과 거짓이 없는 믿음으로 나는 사랑이거늘
5but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith;
